Boyfriend material? What's your boyfriend material?
Relationship is the way in which two or more people are connected. But in this era, I guess when anyone talks about relationships everyone's minds just zoom straight to the BGR category. Why though? Don't get me wrong, I'm guilty of doing it as well but I don't know the constant chit chat about boys and their personality and their flings it just kinda kinda bores me sometimes. Is there really a need to be constantly talking about them. Well from this I bet you'll know that I as single as can be but not very good at mingling. Enough of my rant and let's get down to the topic of boyfriend material.
Alright you can be a heterosexual or homosexual or even bisexual everyone has their own personal preferences. That i am very sure of. Some may prefer good looks, some it depends on how much the person has in their bank account and some its just good old plain down to the personality. Either way this ideals make it such that your boyfriend catered to your preference making him BOYFRIEND MATERIAL. I mean if you're dating someone who doesn't fulfil half of what's in your checklist then honey what's the point? To eventually break up? Seriously though the motive and purpose is to get to know someone who you know aesthetically or personality wise fits your criteria. This might seem bit too superficial and materialistic but to have a preference can seriously help you a lot when it comes down to the details and the little things. Whether he bothers to shave, whether he wears slippers when he is out and about with you, whether you dig that or not. You know this preferences are to give you a rough guide on what you truly want in a relationship/companionship. Because if you are planning on marrying this guy your boyfriend material will soon transition to become husband material. So I guess it is important to be very sure of what might be in that list you know.
I mean by all means you can "test water" and date different people to slowly build up and edit your list as you go and possibly end up with someone perfectly suitable for you. Even though I'm sure such things only happen in movies and fairytales why not try you have nothing to lose. You might but if it came true then I guess it's all worth it. My point is to be sure of what you really what in a relationship so that you won't get your heartbroken by boys who just want to mess around. It's perfectly fine to be selective in your choices.
I might have gone out of topic but yeah. Be really careful who you give your heart to and don't be shy to ask advice from your girlfriends. Some of their ideas and advices may be your best chance at having an amazing relationship. That being said never neglect your family especially your parents their opinion matters a lot if not the most so be sure to date and find a man who respect and shares the same values as you.
Till next time.
xoxo,
A
